This story caught my eye on twitter recently. A father has made an adaptive nintendo controller for his daughter to use, so that she can play games like her dad and friends. Part of the reason this caught my eye was that I like seeing this kind of adaptive twist to everyday items, but also the girl in question has HSP.

There's a part of me which likes that the basis for this controller is an Xbox adaptive controller. The work has been to modify it to work with Nintendo. I like this because those with disabilities often have to interact with systems which aren't as "plug-and-play" as they might be for more able-bodied people (or indeed more able-minded people).
